review IT "My Theme Park"

During our last weeks of class, we had been given a project, not just any project though. a project that will push everyone to the limit of their expertise using powerpoint, photoshop, word and dreamweaver, no doubt, i had trouble. In the first few lessons i was doing okay and going along track until the second last week of proper classes where i was hit with concussion and with that came memory loss. The following week was my last and i had no time left to finish all of my work. However i did get most of my work done but not to the best of my ability.

My park is called "Reefscape Theme Park" and it features all the best attractions and rides from Sea World and Dreamworld and put them all together in one big theme park.

This task was challenging given the time limit and amount of work required to do but i am mostly happy that it is all over and i have learnt a few more photoshop skills that can help in my photographic hobby and learning dreamweaver opened me to having a basic website designed. as well as using prezi for a presentation but never got around to completing it.

I have put more effort on the business and family part of making a theme park than the other parts like adding some cartoon theme park representatives, specific contact details and some more..

This is overall fun and i hope that i could learn more with what i know now.

Web2.0, wiki and Xtranormal

I think that the websites are pretty useful for entertainment, presenting and expressing creative ideas, the wiki and web2.o is the best place to bring that all together.
Go2Web20.net is a Web 2.0 metasite. Almost 2,800 thumbnail logos of 2.0 applications and services can be arranged by alphabetically, by subject tag (tag cloud format), or by date submitted. Hovering over any image icon will hyperlink you to its Web site thanks to Flash technology. This site was started for "early adopters" of 2.0 technologies.

i would personally use this in the future to find the best websites for what i am looking for.

Wikispaces is a very simple application for publishing and sharing basic information.

But i would not use this in the future as it proved un-user-friendly and it is not very impressive.

Xtranormal is a text to movie based website where one types text and then it appears as dialogue.

I would use this for presentations for school for some humour if it grows more popular.

three favorite and least favorite websites

My 3 most favorited websites are:
1. Google.com
2. Facebook.com
3. Youtube.com

All of the websites that i chose are not flashy or well coloured, they are my favorite because they provide users of the internet to socialise, watch videos or search items with ease and a user-friendly website as well with fast loading pages and high quality work.

My least favorite websites are any websites that have :
1.Ripped off any other website with its functionality but also has less user-ability.
eg. Google and Bing

2.Dull and colourless with no thought into the properties of graphic design because if it does not get the viewers' attention, it would quickly lose popularity.

3. It has very few purposes. people need to use websites for many purposes or at least a purpose that is broadly expanded. like google. but websites llike facebook allow for socialising, sharing and playing games as well..

Alimba's magazine (poorly made)
i hope he likes it :)

The final result was completed easily by first editing the photo of alimba with higher contrast, saturation and shadow detail recovery.

The background of earth was found on google images but could not be retrieved ><

The text was simple to render with glow, reflection, bevel and emboss.

The final result was not surprisingly good as it could be improed in some ways

The class collgage.
Most of the people are in this collage excluding me because i couldnt fit in and i dont like photos :)
